1. Will Primeware fit into my present counter?

Yes, Primeware dishes are made in gastronorm sizes - the world standard for catering service counters.



2. Will Primeware hold large enough quantities of product to cover my busy times?

With 7 different dish sizes, available in 3 depths, Primeware has the capacity to meet all of your requirements.



3. Will Primeware fit into our present decor?

Yes, with five standard colours currently available, there are ceramics to tone in with almost any scheme.



4. Can I use the 9 x 9 inch dishes to serve pre-prepared food?

Yes, Primeware’s 9 x 9’s take the standard foil container used by major suppliers of pre-prepared and frozen foods.



5. Will my food stay hot in Primeware?

Yes, Primeware ceramics hold heat 30% better than stainless steel.



6. Can I Cook or Freeze in Primeware?

Yes, Primeware ceramics can withstand temperatures from ­-20°C to +250 °C.



7. Can I really use Primeware in my microwave?

Yes! You can Cook, Chill, Freeze, Microwave and serve in the same Primeware dish. Think of all the washing up saved!



8. Why do I need Primeware ‘Hot Tiles™’?

Primeware Hot Tiles™ fit over the wells in your old, tired deep-well bain marie. They rejuvenate and modernise your counter at a budget price!



9. Can I wash Primeware in my dishwasher?

Yes! All Primeware is dishwasher safe. Our colours never fade.



10. Will Primeware break?

Yes, if badly treated as will most products. But with reasonable care PrimeWare will last for years.



11. I have a tiled heated counter at present. Can I still use Primeware?

Yes Primeware’s range of bright ceramics will enhance your counter and retain heat longer.



12. Can I cover my food in Primeware?

Primeware has a complete range of matching lids, which can be used to cover your food during quiet periods.



13. What is melamine?

Melamine is a type of organic compound which mixed with formaldehyde makes melamine resin. Melamine resin is a synthetic polymer that has fire and heat resistant properties and has a very stable structure. Melamine is very malleable when it is heated but quickly sets in its form and becomes rigid when cooled down. It is hardwearing, durable, scratch & chip resistant. 



14. Is melamine 100% food safe?

All Primeware melamine products are 100% food safe.



15. Can melamine go in the dishwasher?

Yes but as with any product handle with care and store correctly. Never use scouring pads or similar abrasive cleaning products.



16. Is melamine suitable for microwave/oven use?

We do not recommend any of our items are for use in the microwave or oven.



17. How soon can I get my hands on Primeware?

We aim to deliver within 72 hours of an order being placed. Occasionally we might be slightly short of stock but our aim is to get the products to you within 28 days at the latest.



18. I like what I see. Where can I obtain Primeware ceramics locally?
